This was the first strawberry from our patch this summer. It would be the first of many, many more to come.
Both Uriah and Jordyn played slow-pitch this summer. They had a great time and did very well. Uriah improved his swing a lot compared to last summer and Jordyn was a natural at hitting the ball. One time, Uriah hit the ball and it went straight into a girl's chest. Uriah felt bad because she cried and had to be taken out of the game, but he was also proud of his swing.
It was a lot of fun having two kids on the same team.

I also started the kids in swimming lessons this June. We got a family pass to the pool and Uriah was swimming by himself and passed the deep end test within a week. I got him signed up for lessons so that he could learn to swim more efficiently. Jordyn and Bonnie were in the same beginner class because they both sink like a rock.

Uriah is out there somewhere...
I went to the Idaho Falls temple dedication and J's parents came to watch the kids while he worked. The kids love when grandma and grandpa come to play.
KyLee thought it would be funny to put her swimming float on over her head.
We barbecued ribs for dinner one night and Bonnie went to town on hers. She is my little meat eater!
KyLee got her first hair cut by auntie Alicia. The first cut is always hard for mommas, but she really needed it and her hair looked much nicer when it was done.
Our strawberry harvest was crazy. We spent a lot of time out picking strawberries this summer.

More strawberries!

More strawberries...
Cousin Aubrey came to visit and KyLee fell asleep in the shopping cart.
This year Uriah wanted a graboid on his birthday cake, so of course dad just had to comply. J made homemade modeling chocolate and made a graboid pop out the top of Uriah's cake. He was a happy boy.
More time spent outside. This time KyLee had to entertain herself while we were pulling weeds.
I bought a yellow and orange rose bush at Lowe's and planted them in our flower bed. These are the yellow roses. I just love them!
Jordyn and Bonnie sitting on the tomato cages that J and I built. They were a huge pain in the neck, but they did amazing at holding up the tomato plants.
Love this bed-head that KyLee woke up with one day.
I took the kids to the pool and KyLee fell asleep in the stroller.
My orange rose bush
This summer Uriah was tasked with mowing the lawn. It wasn't a very well received chore. He had a lot of break downs and fits, but he always finished and he felt better when he was done.
