July Joys

More garden pictures: we cemented posts into the ground and used braided wire to raise the raspberry and blackberry plants off the ground.

 Some of our pea crop.
We celebrated Independence Day at CSI. They had a great firework show and the kids got to run around on the grass while we waited for it to get dark.

KyLee and Kian are best friends.

After the CSI show, we went to our friends' (the Grayson's) for a much more intimate firework display.
I got a new brush called the Furminator and it pretty much makes another cat out of the hair you brush.
 Beautiful Eva.

 Hanging out at the pool.

 Swimming is exhausting!
 The first of our raspberries
Uriah signed up for a Kitchen Academy class at CSI this summer and he loved it. He learned how to cook about 10 different meals.
Panorama of the garden and the new grass growing.
 Eva playing on the floor.
 Making jam
 Eva snuggling with daddy
I just love those big, beautiful eyes.

 Going for a bike ride.

 Snuggle time with mommy
We celebrated our 13th anniversary on the 22nd, which happened to be a Sunday. I snapped a picture of us before sacrament meeting started.

Picking apricots at grandma and grandpa McCurdy's.

 Apricot jam and canned apricots

We took all the kids to Lagoon at the end of July, and even though it was sweltering hot and we sweated like crazy, it was a blast!

Jordyn rode everything and anything she could get on.

I didn't think there would be much for KyLee to do, but they had a lot of rides for children and she loved every minute of it.

Waking up in our tent in the Lagoon campgrounds.

 Day 2 of fun!

Our good friends and neighbors James and Melissa Thorne invited us on this fabulous trip!
We visited Pioneer Village and got our picture taken. I am sad that KyLee was sleeping during this portion, but she was hot and miserable and I know she really needed the sleep.

Still watching the grass grow...
