So-Long, September

Oy...I posted all these pictures to my blog in October and now it is January and I'm just getting to finish this post! Pictured above: tiny pears from our tiny pear tree.
I was asked to sub for the primary chorister and I decided to do the old "magic water" trick.

I trimmed the tomato plants and threw the trimmings to the chickens. Bonnie helped me pick off the good tomatoes.

Much neater tomato rows
Beautiful eggplants

First day of school! Bonnie started 1st grade at NVA.
KyLee really wanted to go to school with the big kids but had to stay home.
Jordyn started 3rd grade.
Uriah started 5th grade.

First day of school picture with our friends, the Woods. They ended up moving away in October and we were all very sad :(

I got to chaperone a group of college students to the Salt Lake version of Comic-Con, and it was the coolest thing I've ever been to!

Guardians of the Galaxy cosplay

Panel from The Walking Dead. I didn't stay at that one very long because they were dropping too many F bombs.
Speaking of dropping, I probably dropped too much $$ to get this picture with Karl Urban, but I don't care! It was way cool.
And I saw my friend Josh from ISU whom I hadn't seen in about 5 years.
And I got an autographed book from Brandon Sanderson.
Family pictures at CSI...we were all tired and hungry, but it was still fun.

Uriah started attending Magic Valley Youth Orchestra in September and he has been loving it. He is so good at playing the bass. He wants to start again this month.

Playing his bass for us at home.
Pam and I discovered a store in Buhl called Don's that sells the most amazing donuts. We go there frequently.
Pumpkins
More pumpkins
Hot peppers
Melons
Our watermelons were not nearly as big as they were last year.

The kids playing with the filters on my phone.

Jordyn being a monkey and climbing the walls.
Uriah helping her down.
Uriah frequently falls asleep at church. On the Sundays when I'm alone with the kids, I just have to let it happen and remind myself that he's still learning and getting the gospel. I am really excited for the church's big move to have more gospel in the home.
Eva started pulling herself up to things, like my legs.

Eva visited mommy at work and played with the plant.

Tootles sleeping in a cubby
KyLee's ice cream birthday cake. She asked for the same one last year. She turned 3 on September 23rd.

Our neighbor's daughters like to come over and play with Eva.

My friend made these scrabble boards for me and I cut the letters and finished it. I love it!
